Selling your home takes some work but putting in the effort can make selling a bit easier and could result in a better outcome.

1. Landscape- When buyers come to your home the landscaping is one of the first things they will notice. Make sure your lawn, plants, flowerbeds, etc. are looking neat. First impressions count!

2. Remove clutter- A cluttered home can make it feel smaller than it actually is. Removing clutter can also make your home more comfortable to potential buyers.

3. Clean- A clean home is inviting to potential buyers. This also includes eliminating all smells such as pets, smoke, etc.

4. Make minor repairs- Small expenses can add up in the eyes of a potential buyer. Fixing simple items such as a jammed drawer can mean a lot.

5. Depersonalize- Potential buyers don’t want to see your family photos. They want to imagine their own family living in the home. Remove all photos and keep things simple.
